			build confidence, in addition to conditioning both body and mind.
			When a student trains, one is required to leave all their problems at
			the door, or more appropriately, the black line enclosing the
			training area, and focus only on what they&rsquo;re learning and its
			practice. The instructors take what they teach with pride and
			seriousness. While Hong Luck is a friendly and accepting environment,
			during a class students are expected to train with seriousness.</p>
			<p class="verdana9ptwhite">Many people ask how long it will take
			them to advance at Hong Luck.</p>
			<p class="verdana9ptwhite">The guiding principles of nature and
			the earth are such that things are not fixed. The beauty of the
			variety in nature is also present in humanity. Kung Fu is for
			everyone, but people are born with varying degrees of talent and
			will. Progress at Hong Luck depends solely on the student. If one
			tries hard and attends classes frequently and regularly, one will
			advance as quickly as talent permits. <a href="master-chan.php">Grandmaster
			Chan</a> and the other instructors do not discriminate, and Hong Luck
			cannot make any guarantees as to a student&rsquo;s level of progress.

			</strong> Our basic training regimen is designed to meet the demands of both
			beginners and advanced students. For beginners, the techniques one
			acquires in basic training lay the foundation for higher levels of
			performance. For intermediate and advanced students, basic training

			</strong>At Hong Luck Kung Fu Club, we use a four-tier grading system.
			However, our students are not required to wear belts, sashes, or any
			other visible markers meant to discern their rank.</p>
			<p class="verdana9ptwhite">The main reason for this is that
			visible markers of rank are not consistent with Chinese tradition.</p>
			<p class="verdana9ptwhite">In graduation ceremonies, however,
			students will be presented with a certificate and headband indicating
			their level of achievement.</p>

			Standardization<br />
			</strong>Unlike other fighting systems, the Chinese martial arts, historically
			speaking, have never had a set of standardized regulations to judge
			the ability of its practitioners.</p>

			so many diverse styles found throughout different parts of China, it
			has been difficult to find uniform criteria upon which to build a
			grading system.</p>
